Open Access for BU Researchers听
Here at BU, we provide support for BU researchers to make their research Open Access through two听routes;听the 'Gold' route听and the 'Green' route.
The Gold route requires authors to pay the publisher to publish outputs open access directly. This route has been supported by BU since 2011 by our institutional Open Access Publication Fund.
The Green route requires authors to deposit the accepted manuscript into an Open Access Repository. This route has been supported by BU since 2008 by BURO.
The BU Open Access Publication听Fund
The is available to any BU researcher, academic or student, who is ready to submit a peer-reviewed article for publication. This is a centralised fund which was launched in 2011 in response to and in support of various developments in research communication and publication trends.听
